How to Remove the RPC Virus

The RPC virus, also known as as the Blaster, MSBlast or W32.Blaster.Worm, is a computer parasite that exploits the RPC (Remote Procedure Call) vulnerability of the Windows operating systems. The worm can replicate itself over a network and infect other computers. This parasite displays error messages referencing RPC problems and shuts down your computer. The affected Windows editions include Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Microsoft has recognized the severity of the problem and has issued a security patch that prevents infection. However, you still need to run a tool to remove the RPC virus from your computer.
