1
Wash the uniform in cold water with high agitation speed. Drill, a thick, tough cotton fabric, can take a lot of washing and cleaning, which is excellent for stain removal success.
-
2
Take the uniform out of the washer and assess its condition. Does it have remaining greasy spots or bright food stains?

For greasy spots, apply gel stain remover or dry cleaning solvent. Rub the area generously with the gel; or, alternatively, wet the area, pour dry cleaning solvent over the spot and scrub with a cloth or non-metal brush.
-
4
For food stains of any sort, apply dry cleaning solvent or vinegar directly to the stain. Scrub the area with the non-metal brush until the stain is gone.

5
Put the uniform through the washing cycle again to remove the cleaning solutions, then dry it in the clothes dryer.

Tips & Warnings
Wash your uniform often--at least every couple of days--to keep your uniform at its best.
Do not dry your chef's uniform until the stains are gone. Heat has a tendency to set stains so that you cannot remove them.
