How do I Get a Title for a 15 -Year-Old Car in Georgia?
It doesn't matter how old or how new a vehicle may be, you can obtain a title for your vehicle by contacting the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicles. All vehicles must have a title, which states the owner of the vehicle. If you have a lien on your vehicle, the owner of the vehicle is the financial institution that holds your loan. If you have paid off your loan or you paid cash for the vehicle, the title will state your name and the name of your spouse or cosigner.
