1
Measure the circumference of your ankle with a tape measure and buy a chain ankle bracelet at this length. Make sure the links in the chain are about 1/16 of an inch wide. Buy a package of small bell charms in the same color as the ankle bracelet, and some jump rings to match. Jump rings are small rings that you can open and close to attach jewelry components together.

2
Place your chain ankle bracelet out on a piece of paper and tape the ends down with clear tape. Make a mark on the paper with a pen directly below the links where you plan on attaching the bell charms. You can place them every-other link, or however far apart you want them to be as long as they are all evenly spaced.

Grip both ends of the opening of a jump ring with pliers. Turn the ends in opposite directions to open the jump ring. Slip the end of the jump ring through the loop in the top of the bell charm and then through the link in the ankle bracelet. Close the jump ring by turn the two open ends so that they reconnect. Repeat this step until every link that you marked has a bell charm.
