How do I Care for Franke USA Granite Sinks?
Franke USA granite sinks provide an alternative to common ceramic or stainless steel sinks, with a price that is comparable. These sinks are created with a resin-bonded quartz crystal material that provides a rock-hard surface with additional benefits beyond the other sink types. The surface won't chip, scratch or stain, and it won't be damaged by heat up to 530° F. However, to keep your sink looking its best, routine care is strongly recommended. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Clean and dry your sink routinely after each use. To limit buildup of soap scum or grime, quickly rinse with clean water and wipe down the sink with a towel.
-
2
Rinse with vinegar and scrub clean for mineral deposits due to hard water. Make sure to rinse with water afterward since the acidity of vinegar could pit the surface if left for a long period of time.

3
Remove stubborn stains that appear with an abrasive pad or an abrasive cleanser. If a stain has been left too long and won't come out, fill the sink with a mixture of 40 parts water to 1 part bleach and let the stain soak overnight. Neither of these steps should be done often, as they can damage the surface over time.
-
4
Scrub with dish soap and a nylon brush to remove a metal residue if it appears after washing pots and pans.
