How do I Replace an HP Officejet 7310 Ink Cartridge?
The HP Officejet 7310 is an all-in-one color printer that provides both color and black and white copying and printing services. This printer can also scan and fax documents in color to supply a variety of office and home document reproduction and transmission needs. Changing the ink cartridges is a simple process, but it is important to have the correct cartridge to prevent damage to the printer or problems with printing functions.

Remove the protective tape strip that is covering the print head of the new cartridge.

Power on the printer.

Open the cover of your printer, and wait for the carriage assembly to stop moving.

Open the cartridge latch by pressing on the top of the latch and then pulling out the bottom of the latch. The cartridge will then be free to slide outwards.

Slide the old print cartridge out of the printer, and place it in a print cartridge recycle bag.

Slide the new cartridge into the open slot, and replace the cartridge latch.

Close the printer cover.

Tips & Warnings
Check the Sure Supply database and the project specifications list in Resources to verify that you have the correct print cartridge for your printer.
Do not touch the copper strips on the bottom of the new print cartridge since this can cause future clogs and printing errors.
