How to Download Programs in Linux
The Linux operating system is an open-source alternative to operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS. Like Windows and Mac OS, Linux is capable of downloading and installing applications from the Web. Linux actually makes things a bit easier by including a Software Center application. This allows you to search for the software title and download and install it instantly. If the title isn't available in Software Center, you can visit the developer's website to download the program.
