How do I Design Free Flash Web Pages?

Go to the Wix web site and click the link to log in or sign up. On the log-in screen, click the "Sign Up!" tab. Enter your e-mail address, password and user name and click the "Sign Up" button. You'll then be logged in automatically.

Click the button that says "Start Creating." On the next page, click "Blank Website" to build a site from scratch. The Wix Editor screen will load in a new window. Click "OK" to hide the help screen.

Hover over "Page Parts" at the top of the left-hand menu and click "Background." Click the "Night Stars" background to select it. Return to "Page Parts" and click "Page Center." Go to the second page of center options and click the blue "Frame" option.

Hover over the "Text" button in the left-hand menu and select "Title." From the Font option pop-up window, select the "Sandoval" font. A text-box that reads "Insert text here" will appear on your web page. Click it and select "Edit" from the pop-up box. Enter "Photo-Rama." Highlight the new text and use the controls at the bottom of the screen to change the font size to 58, the letter spacing to 1.8, and the font color to white. You can also add a hyperlink to the text. Click anywhere outside of the text box to save the changes. Click the box again and click and drag it to move it to the upper, left corner of the page. Click the curved "Rotate" arrow and drag it until the title text aligns with the top, left slope of the frame. Click and drag the square boxes on the corners and sides to adjust the size of the title to your satisfaction.

Hover over the "Galleries" button and click "Carousel." In the pop-up options box, select "Circle." Click and drag the white boxes on the corners and sides to enlarge the widget. Click and drag the widget to reposition it on the page. As you drag it around the page, guidelines will appear to help you center it horizontally and vertically.

Click "Manage" in the controls below the widget. Next to "Add Photo," click "Delete All" to clear the Wix slide show, then click "Add Photo." Next, click "Upload" to add photos from your hard drive, or click "Community" to select available photos. Click on a photo to select it. Select four to six photos and close the "Pics" box. On the "Manage Photos" screen, click "OK."

Click "Add Menu" at the bottom of the screen. On the second page of Horizontal menu options, click "Shiny Edge" and close the "Menus" box. Click on the menu to bring up the menu controls. Drag the menu to center it beneath the photo carousel. In the controls at the bottom of the screen, click "Color." Use the eyedropper tool to select a complementary shade of dark blue. Click "Close." Next, click "Format" and change the "Mouse Over" and "Mouse Click" text color options to white. Click "OK."

Save your work by clicking "Save" in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Name your web page "Photo-Rama" and click "OK" to save. Click "Preview" to see how it looks outside of edit mode. If you're happy with it, click "Back to Editing," and then click "Publish." A pop-up screen will inform you of your new Flash site's URL. Click "OK" to accept and finish publishing, and go to the URL provided to view and interact with your newly created Flash web site.
