The skin can contract unsightly conditions like acne, which commonly happens because of increased hormones during puberty but can also strike long after puberty ends due to poor skin care. However, maintaining clear skin can be quite easy provided you lead a healthy lifestyle and take the appropriate measures to clean your skin without damaging it or otherwise adversely affecting it.

Tips & Warnings
Sunscreen should have a minimal SPF of 15 and be effective against UVA and UVB rays. Sunlight is the most powerful between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., so either avoid the sun if possible or apply a more powerful sunscreen.
Stress and diet can also affect skin health, so make sure to maintain a healthy diet and practice proper stress management to keep your skin from breaking out.
Smoking is a dangerous habit that affects the respiratory system but it also has an adverse affect on the skin, as it depletes important nutrients.
