  • Deck screws
  • Vinyl plank
  • Tape measure
  • Saw (Power or hand)

      Remove the old deck plank with the drill. Dispose of the deck screws because you will want to use new ones. Dispose of the old plank by recycling if it is required on your area.

      Measure the length of the gap and cut the board to the proper length. This is done with either type of saw. Just make sure that your cut is straight.

      Place the board in the gap and drill the screws into the vinyl deck board and into the deck. Put at least two screws in each end of the board to hold it secure.
