How to Replace Vinyl Deck Planks
Even vinyl decking can become worn or damaged. Dropping a heavy object on the floor can crack or dent it and pets can cause cuts and grooves in the material. Remove the old deck plank with the drill. Dispose of the deck screws because you will want to use new ones. Dispose of the old plank by recycling if it is required on your area.

Measure the length of the gap and cut the board to the proper length. This is done with either type of saw. Just make sure that your cut is straight.

Place the board in the gap and drill the screws into the vinyl deck board and into the deck. Put at least two screws in each end of the board to hold it secure.
