How to Turn a Vtech Phone Ringer Off

The ringer on a Vtech phone can be turned off at any time.

Vtech offers a number of cordless and corded phones for use in the home. If you are tired of hearing your phone ring or do not want to be disturbed, you can turn the ringer off your Vtech phone by pressing a few buttons.

Instructions

Method One

1. Press "Prog" on the handset.

2. Press the arrow button beneath the phone's display until you reach "Ringer," then press "Select."

3. Press the arrow button until you reach "Ringer Off," then press "OK." The phone should beep to confirm your selection.

Method Two

1. Press "Prog" on the handset.

2. Press the down arrow key until you reach "Ringer Vol," then press "Select."

3. Press the down arrow key until you reach "Off," then press "Select."

Tips & Warnings

• The ringer on some Vtech models can be turned off by switching the ringer on the side of the handset or base.
