How to Enable Javascript & Flash
Java and Flash are two of the most often-seen types of applications on the Internet. YouTube is a primarily flash-based website, and many advertisements and other types of programs---including games---are programmed using Javascript. In order to view either of these mediums in your web browser, you need to have them enabled on your computer. In order to enable them on your computer, you will have to download and install the necessary drivers and files. Fortunately, both Java and Flash drivers are available free of charge for download on their respective websites.

Launch your preferred web browser.

Navigate to the Adobe Flash download page.

Click the "Click Here to Download" button and save the install file to your hard drive.

Close all open Internet browser windows.

Launch the install file. Follow the instructions in the new dialog box that pops up to start the automated install process. It should only take a few moments for Flash to be installed and enabled on your computer.

Start your preferred web browser.

Navigate to the Java download page.

Scroll down the pages until you locate the installer file for your specific operating system.

Click the "Download" link for that installer file and save it to your hard drive.

Launch the install file once it has finished downloading. The onscreen instructions will guide you through the installation process. Depending on which install file you downloaded, you may need to keep your Internet connection open in order for the installer to download the needed files. You may also need to restart your computer once the installation has finished.

Tips & Warnings
If Java is still disabled (or malfunctioning) after the installation is complete, go into "Internet Options," click the "Security" tab followed by the "Custom Level" button. In the new window that pops up, scroll down until you find the "Active Scripting" option under the "Scripting" section. Make sure this option is checked. This will allow your browser to use Javascript.
