You can easily swap out alternate hard drives with different operating systems.

Knowing how to replace the hard drive in your HP Envy Series 14 laptop will give you the freedom to install different operating systems on different hard drives that both work in your HP Envy laptop. This process is useful if you don't want to partition one hard drive, which would leave limited space for each operating system, or to risk storing information on a potentially unstable external hard drive. Also, if your hard drive ever does die, you won't have to pay the outrageous price for a computer repair shop to install a new one for you.
