How to Email Big Attachments
If you're planning on emailing a large attachment, do the recipient a favor and compress or zip the attached files first. Compressing or zipping shrinks the files by up to 50 to 90 percent, depending on what type of file it is. This makes the files faster and easier to download from your email. With some especially large files, you might not even be able to attach them at all without first shrinking them. You can compress large attachments before you email them on both Windows and Mac systems.
