How to Renew CA Anti-Virus
CA Anti-Virus by CA Technologies is a computer protection suite that has been replaced by CA Anti-Virus Plus Anti-Spyware 2010 and is no longer offered to new customers. The product provides protection from viruses and trojans; detects computer threats in real time; and updates virus databases automatically. Although one cannot buy CA Anti-Virus anymore, if you already have the subscription, you can renew it and keep your computer protected at all times.

Go to CA Technologies subscription renewal account log-in page (see link in the References), enter your email address and password (used during account setup when purchasing the CA Anti-Virus online) and click "Submit."

Select the renewal package you would like to install in the shopping cart after logging in, enter your billing information, your email address and password during the check-out, and click "Submit."

Go to the email address you supplied during subscription renewal, open the subscription renewal email from CA Technologies and click on the provided download link. Save the setup file using the link on the new Web page, double-click the saved file and follow the step-by-step instructions of the installation wizard to install the renewal package of CA Technologies.

Enter the product key as supplied in the subscription renewal email from CA Technologies during the installation.
You can also renew your CA Technologies subscription by clicking the "Renew Now" button in the renewal notifications that should be displayed once a day starting 30 days prior to subscription expiration day.
