How do I Transfer American Express Points to Jet Blue?

Use your American Express JetBlue points for flights with JetBlue Airlines.

American Express and JetBlue Airlines have partnered together to provide you with reward points for using their services. When you have the American Express JetBlue credit card, you earn points when you make purchases with the card. You can then transfer those points to your JetBlue account to book flights. You can earn 10,000 points with the first purchase you make with your JetBlue card. That's enough points to book a round trip flight with JetBlue for free.

Instructions

Online

1. Sign up for a TrueBlue account by visiting Jet Blue's "True Blue" website (see Resources). You will have to enter information such as your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.

2. Visit the American Express Membership Rewards website (see Resources).

3. Log in to your account by entering your user ID and password. If you don't have a user ID and password, you can create one by clicking on the "Continue" button. You will have to enter your American Express card number in order to register a new user ID and password.

4. Click on the option that is labeled "Transfer This Amount."

5. Enter the amount of points you would like to transfer. Click the "Submit" option to complete the transfer of your points. It can take up to 48 hours for your points transfer to complete.

1. Sign up for a TrueBlue account by calling 800-538-2583.

2. Contact American Express Membership Rewards at 800-297-3276.

3. Advise the Membership Rewards representative that you would like to connect your American Express Membership Rewards account to your TrueBlue account.

4. Provide the representative with your first and last name along with your TrueBlue account number. When giving your name to the representative, it should be given exactly as it is spelled on your TrueBlue account.

5. Advise the representative of the amount of points you would like to transfer to your TrueBlue account. It can take up to 48 hours for your points to transfer.
