How to Configure NTP
The Network Time Protocol (NTP) provides network administrators with the ability to synchronize network machines with the same time server, typically a domain primary controller. This keeps all network machines set to the same system time. You configure an NTP server on the client machine using the Windows command line.

Click the Windows "Start" button and enter "cmd" in the search text box. Press "Enter" to open the Windows command prompt.

Enter "net time /?" at the command prompt and press "Enter". This displays your current network time settings along with your network time options, which is beneficial if you forget the command syntax.

Enter "net time /rtsdomain:DomainName" in the command line, substituting your Windows domain name for "DomainName". Press "Enter". This synchronizes your client computer with the domain server.
