AMD's "ATI Catalyst" software program offering has won awards for its ability to render high-quality graphics and video. The Catalyst software suits both desktop and laptop PCs, and it is compatible with recent Windows operating system releases. Just as Microsoft puts out periodic operating system updates, AMD publishes updates to its Catalyst software so that it maintains compatibility.
