How Do I Change My MSN Address & Password?
MSN provides a variety of services to Internet users, all accessible with the same user name and password. Such services include Hotmail, Windows Live and MSN Messenger. MSN also offers premium features that require monthly subscriptions, such as premium versions of Windows Live and Hotmail. Changing you password and your secondary email address is a simple process, requiring you to log in to the MSN Passport Account, navigate to your account setting page, and click on the correct links to change your password and your address. Microsoft recommends that you change your password regularly to help prevent someone from hacking into your account.

Visit the Microsoft Passport Account services page and input your user name and current password to log in.

Click on the link to the "Account Settings" page. You account information will the load onto the screen.

Select the link "Change" to the right of the password option.

Input your current password into the first field. Input your new password in the next field and confirm it by inputting your new password again in the last filed. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen, and your changes will take effect immediately. The next time you log in, you will need to do so with the new password.

Go back to the "Account Settings" page and scroll down until you see "Secondary Email." This is where your secondary email address is stored. Click on the "Change" link to the right-hand side and input your new address.

Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen, and your changes will take effect immediately.

Changing the "primary" email address would require opening a new MSN account.
