How to Install Catalyst Media Center

How to Install Catalyst Media Center thumbnail
ATI video cards are made by AMD, and are often located on AMD motherboards.

When an ATI video card is installed on your system, the ATI Catalyst Software Suite, which provides you with greater control over your display driver properties, is included with it. The Catalyst Media Center is included with all ATI All-In-Wonder graphics cards. This allows you to take advantage of your TV tuner card while working on your computer. Features include picture-in-picture and the ability to set the program's opacity level while working and watching television.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the AMD Graphics Drivers & Software download webpage.

    • 2

Select "TV Tuner Products" in the box labeled "Step 1" and select "All In Wonder Series" in the box labeled "Step 2." Select your video card model from the box labeled "Step 3" and then choose your operating system from the box labeled "Step 4."

    • 3

Click the gray button labeled "Download" beside the "Catalyst Software Suite" to begin the download. Save the file in an easy-to-find location, such as the desktop.

Double-click the file that was downloaded to begin the installation. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation of both the Catalyst Software Suite and the Catalyst Media Center.
