How to Install a Printer to a Wireless D-Link thumbnail
A D-Link wireless router can share a home printer with any computer in the home network.

D-Link's SharePort technology allows you to share a printer using a wireless router. The router provides a print server that makes the printer accessible to any computer on your wireless or local network. A user can connect to the printer over the wireless network as needed. SharePort is best suited to family and home office printing situations that do not require a full multi-user print server solution.

  • You will need to install the printer driver and SharePort utility on every computer that needs to access the shared printer.

  • Only one computer can be connected to a SharePort shared printer or storage device at a time. Be sure to disconnect from the device in order to allow others to use it.
