Day after day of exposure to the elements can leave a person's skin looking scaly and dry. One effective way to rejuvenate facial skin is to use a beauty mask. These masks can be purchased at many drugstores or cosmetic counters. However, these masks may contain chemical ingredients that can potentially irritate or damage the skin. Homemade facial beauty masks can be produced at home with natural ingredients. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Mild cleanser
- Towel
- 1/2 banana
- Small bowl
- Fork
- Honey
- 2 tbsp. sour cream
- 1 egg
- Medium-sized bowl
- 1/2 tsp. almond oil
- 1 tbsp. plain yogurt

Honey and Banana Facial Mask

Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat dry with a towel. Peel the skin from one banana.

Place half of the banana into a small bowl and mash it with a fork.

Pour 1 tbsp. of honey and 2 tbsp. of sour cream into the bowl. Combine the ingredients well.

Apply a thin layer of the honey and banana mask onto your face and neck. Allow the mask to sit for 10 minutes.

Rinse the mask away with cool water and pat your face dry with a towel.
Honey and Egg Facial Mask

Separate one egg yolk from the white. Place the egg yolk into a medium-sized bowl and discard the egg white.

Add 1 tbsp. of honey, 1/2 tsp. of almond oil and 1 tbsp. of plain yogurt into the bowl. Mix the ingredients well with a fork.

Apply a thin layer of the honey and egg yolk mask to your face. Allow the mask to sit for 10 minutes.
