How do I Remove Fiberglass Fragments From Skin?
Fiberglass is made from small fibrous glass particles that can irritate the body when contact occurs. When the glass fibers get caught in clothing, they can rub against the skin until a rash forms. At other times, these small slivers of glass can enter the body like a splinter and break-off at skin level to leave a tiny piece of glass embedded in the skin. Visually, these two conditions are almost identical in appearance. Fiberglass workers often treat both conditions as if a fiberglass fragment is present in the skin. At times, it can take two or three tries before the fiberglass splinters come out. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Wash the body off in a hot shower after working with fiberglass to remove the glass fibers that are clinging to the surface of the body.
-
2
Apply hand lotion to the areas of the body that have a rash forming.
-
-
3
Wait for an hour or more to see if the rash is relaxing. Stop here if you determine that your fiberglass affliction is a surface rash.
-
4
Remove embedded fiberglass fragments that have a tail protruding above the skin surface by applying duct tape over the top of the splinter. Pull the duct tape off slowly to avoid breaking the tiny glass splinters.
-
5
Apply bikini wax on top of the skin area that houses the fiberglass splinter with the supplied product application stick. Press the bikini wax removal strip on top of the liquid bikini wax. Pull the bikini wax strip off quickly.
-
6
Wait overnight to allow the skin to calm. Repeat steps 4 and 5 when the splinter is too deep to be removed on day one.
