Master Source Family Tree Maker, more commonly known simply as Family Tree Maker, is a program offered by Ancestry.com. It helps you track your genealogy and preserve your family's legacy. However, after using the program, you might decide that you no longer want or need it and are content to use Ancestry.com's free online service. If you want to delete Family Tree Maker to free up more disk space on your hard drive, you can easily do so.

Instructions

1. On your computer, click the "Start" button and then click "Control Panel."

2. Click "Programs" and then "Uninstall a Program."

3. Locate Family Tree Maker in the programs list and click on it to select it. Click "Uninstall."
