How do I Find a Pink Construction Hard Hat?
The Occupational Safety Hazard Administration (OSHA) requires that employees involved in construction occupations as well as tree trimming, mining or any occupation in which an employee may bump their heads or have an object fall on them. A hard hat can prevent head injuries sustained from impact or penetration injuries. Most hard hats are made of white or yellow plastic for visibility reasons. But some hard hat manufacturers make hard hats in a range of colors that include pink.

1
Check with your regular construction equipment supplier to see if they have access to pink hard hats. Many standard hard hat manufacturers already make hats in pink color.
-
2
Look through the Yellow Pages for retail outlets that carry women's construction equipment. Companies such as Woman Up located in New York City carry hard hats and other equipment specifically for women with blue collar jobs.
-
-
3
Search for online equipment suppliers such as Girly Lock or Safety Girl. Suppliers such as this specialize in tools and safety equipment specifically for women.
-
4
Conduct an Internet search on a general supply website. Companies that manufacture pink hard hats often list their products with a general warehouse supplier such as Amazon.
-
5
Talk to people who use pink hard hats. Many supply stories such as Woman Up rely on word of mouth at construction sites to help find customers. By asking someone with a pink hard hat where they found their equipment, you will know of at least one reliable supplier.
