Inserting a new paper roll in the Omni 3730 is a maintenance task that ensures you are always ready to give your customer a receipt for her purchase. The Omni 3730 credit and debit card terminal will process purchases with the provider of your merchant services. The processing machine will verify credit and debit card purchases and provide a receipt for your customers. The Omni 3730 uses rolls of thermal paper that are 85 feet long.

Instructions

      Turn the unit on by pressing the power button.

      Press the cover release button. You will find the cover release button on the side of the terminal.

      Remove old paper from the printer tray by lifting it.

    • 4

      Loosen the front edge of the paper by pulling it away from the glue, removing the protective strip or cutting straight across the roll.

      Insert the roll by dropping it into the tray. Make sure the paper edge comes up from the bottom of the roll and you have 2 inches of paper coming off the roll above the metal tear strip.

      Press the paper roll cover until it clicks to close the paper tray.

Tips & Warnings

  • If the leading edge of your roll of paper is wrinkled or torn, tear the paper off straight before you insert the roll.

  • Store paper in a cool, dry and dark area.

  • Do not touch the paper anymore than necessary, the oils from your skin can discolor the paper.
