Scoop a quarter-sized amount of mousse foundation and put on the back of hand. Dip brush into foundation several times to ensure brush head has an even coat.

Stipple foundation onto face without blending. Stippling is done by patting the brush over face in a tapping motion, making sure to cover cheeks, chin, nose and forehead.

Blend foundation that has been stippled on by taking brush and swirling over skin to diffuse the foundation. Pay special attention to blending foundation around the hairline and jawline areas to ensure even coverage and a natural look.

Repeat the stippling and blending process to any areas of face that require more coverage, such as areas with blemishes, acne scarring or redness.

Set foundation with loose powder by taking a large fluffy brush, dipping in powder and then sweeping over the entire face, over eyelids around jawline and on neck.

Take time to blend foundation down into the neck area.
Repeat the stippling and blending process several times until desired coverage level is achieved.
Use the ring finger to pat and blend foundation under the eye area.
