If you have an image that you’ve created in the Adobe InDesign application that you want to send as an email, you must export the file as a JPEG image file onto your computer. When exporting your image, you can also make sure the size of the image isn’t too large so that you file can easily be uploaded. You can then embed the JPEG images using your email account so that the image is uploaded into the message as HTML.

      Open the InDesign image on your computer that you want to export and then click on the “File” option from the top menu.

      Click on the “Export” option and then select the folder you want to save the exported file in. Select the “JPEG” option for the format and then the Export JPEG dialog box will then appear.

      Select the “Medium” option from the drop-down menu next to the “Quality” field. Make any other changes to the format method or resolutions fields to meet your preferences.

      Click on the “Export” button and the exported file will be saved on your computer. Close out of the InDesign application.

      Open your email account and choose to send a new message. Select the option on your email to insert a picture into the body of the email and then select the exported InDesign JPEG file. The file will then be in HTML form within your email and you can send your email.
