Use a telephone on your VoIP connection.

VoIP is an Internet-based telephone service that runs off of a high speed connection. This comes with a flat rate every month and does not charge extra for long distance, and many VoIP services provide free international calling. When using a VoIP service a standard landline phone is used with the VoIP router. Once hooked up you no longer need the actual landline service, allowing you to cancel your current service.
