How do I Set Up a Dlink Dir-615 Router to WiFi Internet?
The Dlink DIR-615 is a wireless router that uses the 802.11n wireless standard. This allows the router to have wireless connections up to 300 Mbps. The router is also compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b standards. The router will connect to your computer at the highest speed your wireless card is cable of. When setting up the router for Wi-Fi Internet, you need to connect the router and configure wireless security.

Connect an Ethernet cable from the back of the DSL or Cable modem to the grey Internet port on the back of the DIR-615.

Connect another Ethernet cable from one of the four LAN ports on the back of the DIR-615 to the computer.

Open a Web browser and type in "192.168.0.1." Press "Enter," then select "Admin" from the drop-down menu and click "Log In."

Click "Wireless Settings" from the left menu.

Check the box next to "Enable Wireless," then type in your desired wireless network name in the box next to "Wireless Network Name:."

Click on the drop-down menu next to "Security Mode:" and select your desired wireless security mode.

Enter the wireless key you want to use, then at the top of the screen click on "Save Settings."
