How to Send a Text on Fido
Fido is a cellular telecommunications network capable of Internet, phone and text services on its handheld devices. Sending a text from your Fido depends on your device model, but as the Fido website claims, "in general" it requires the same process for each device.

Go to the "Messages" menu on your Fido phone.

Click "Text," and then click "New message."

Enter your text message in the space provided. Text messages are limited to 160 characters, so if you go over you will have to send multiple text messages instead of just one.

Click "OK," and then enter the phone number of the person you want to send the text message to.

Click "Send" to send the message; this will take a few moments, then the Fido screen will return to the text messages menu.
