Pour the water in the saucepan and set it on the stove for approximately five minutes, or until it boils. Immediately pour it into the porcelain cup, add the teabag and let it steep for four minutes.

2
Microwave the milk in the jar on "high" for 30 to 45 seconds, making sure to remove the lid first. Alternatively, you can heat the milk in a saucepan over the stove, but stir it continuously to avoid scalding.

3
Cover the jar with the lid and secure. Shake the milk for roughly 30 to 45 seconds. This will create the light, airy froth that gives cappuccinos their characteristic foam top.
-
4
Hold the bowl of the spoon to the inside edge of the jar, leaving just enough space to pour out the milk while holding back the foam with the spoon. Remove the tea bag and stir.
-
5
Spoon the foam on top of the Chai tea. The porcelain cup as well as the foam will insulate the tea, keeping it hot, fresh and flavorful.
