Making a Conference Call With TracFone

Making a Conference Call With TracFone thumbnail
Conference calls offer convenience to users.

The conference call function on many phones allows a caller to place one call on hold, place another call then combine the two, so several individuals can talk to each other at the same time. Conference calls are used in business meetings, allowing those who are not currently in an office to participate in discussions. Conference calling from a prepaid TracFone is available on certain models, such as the LG225.

Instructions

    • 1

Place a call to the first conference call participant.

    • 2

Make a second call to the next conference call participant. The phone will automatically place the first call on hold while the second call is being activated.

    • 3

Connect the two calls by pressing the soft right key and selecting "Join Calls" from the sub-menu.

    • 4

Activate any calls on hold by pressing the "Send" button.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can have up to five different users on the conference call at one time. Check with TracFone for pricing and availability in certain areas.
