XP's Virus Protection Program Won't Let Me View a Web Page

Windows' XP virus protection will not let you view a Web page if it determines that the website has a built-in code that will damage your computer. There are websites that will install viruses, spyware or malware on your computer that will send your personal data to another computer and allow someone to steal your identity. There are other malicious programs that will render your computer useless. You can shut down XP's virus protection and view the website, but stop virus protection at your own risk, and be prepared for negative consequences.
