Recipe for a Coconut Oil & Olive Oil Protein Conditioner

Things You'll Need

• 4 tablespoons olive oil
• 4 tablespoons coconut oil
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 cup coconut milk
• 1/4 cup honey
• 4 drops rosemary essential oil
• 2 drops thyme essential oil
• 1 quart bowl
• 1 wire whisk
• Funnel
• 1 empty squeeze bottle

Instructions

1. 

   Mix the ingredients well to blend the eggs completely.

   Combine all of the ingredients in a one-quart mixing bowl. Whip the ingredients together with a wire whisk.

2. Pour the ingredients into a clean, empty squeeze bottle. Gently shake the bottle for 60 seconds. Use half of the contents on your dry hair, massaging the ingredients through the length of your hair.

3. Cover your hair with a plastic shower cap or plastic wrap. Wait 20 minutes for your hair to condition.

4. Shampoo your hair with your regular shampoo, using a creme rinse if needed for hair that tangles easily. Dry and style your hair as usual. Keep the remaining conditioner in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not use essential oils when pregnant unless your doctor tells you it is okay. Some essential oils cause uterine contractions.
