Keep cataloged business cards stored for future access, should your contacts file become corrupt.

The CardScan Business Card Scanner is a small scanner that allows you to regain control of a growing stack of business cards. With CardScan, you can scan all of your business cards and digitally catalog them in your computer. Once the cards are scanned, the contacts can be imported into a variety of programs, such as Microsoft Outlook and Palm Desktop.

Install the CardScan Business Card Scanner by inserting the software CD that was included with the device into your computer's disc drive. When the auto run screen appears, select the option to install the software. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the software, then connect the scanner to your computer using the included USB cable once the installation has completed.

Insert a card into the scanner to scan the card. Select "Process" from the "Scanning Options" window once it appears, to convert the card from an image to a contact. Once "Process" is clicked, the information will automatically be converted from an image and entered into the contact field.
