How to Become an Independent Watkins Associate
Joseph Ray Watkins started his company in 1868 from his kitchen in Plainview, Minnesota, according to the Watkins website. Watkins is a direct marketing company that sells natural personal and home care products. Becoming an Independent Watkins Associate is not difficult, but it does cost money. There are different marketing options to choose from once you become an associate, so you are free to run your business your way.

Go to the Watkins official website (see the Resource section) and click the "Join Us" link at the top of the left-hand column. Select "As An Associate" in the center of the page, read the information and then click the "Join Us" button again.

Read over the terms and conditions at the top of the page. If you agree and wish to be a Watkins Associate, then click the box next to the "Yes" button.

Choose your package for marketing options. Watkins offers a variety of distributor packages as well as seasonal promotions. Select the package that best fits your needs.

Pay for your new distributor package. The package that you select will determine the price that you pay. After you have completed all of the information and successfully paid, you will receive an email welcoming you to Watkins and your distributor package will be shipped. After you have received your new materials, you are able to start selling immediately.

Tips & Warnings
Complete the order form correctly. The address that you use is the address that your starter kit will be sent to.
Watkins now pays through direct deposit only so you will be required to give your checking or savings account information when you sign up.
