How Do I Open the Front of a Nokia 3110?

Nokia cell phones are designed to open easily. This may be necessary for cleaning the phone keys or changing the faceplate. The 3110 is a sleek brick-style phone with a fragile front cover. Be careful: A single rough stroke can break the cover.

Instructions

1. Slide off and remove the back cover of the phone.

2. Lift the battery out along with the memory card, which is underneath the battery.

3. Lift the front cover gently with your fingernail around the seam. When you gently run your fingernail around it, it will loosen up and you will be able to lift it off easily.

Tips & Warnings

• Never use a metallic object to force open a cover.
