How do I Boot From a Dell Latitude CPX Recovery CD?
A recovery CD is used to fix an operating system that has crashed or is experiencing errors that cause it to not function properly. When the operating system is in a non-working state, you'll have to start the recovery program before the operating system is loaded, which means you have to boot directly from the recovery CD. On the Dell Latitude CPX laptop, you have to enter the System BIOS to change the boot sequence and then you can successfully start the computer from the recovery CD.
