How Do I Donate Toys to Needy Families in the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Area?
With the highest rate of child poverty in the nation, one-third of children living in Washington, D.C., live below the poverty line. Toy donations can provide comfort, hope and inspiration for the children living within these needy families. The simple act of a stranger's kindness can create a ripple effect of good deeds and provide a positive influence that promotes generosity. Finding the proper way to donate can be difficult particularly if you reside within a large metropolitan area like Washington, D.C., but with persistence, you can put a smile on the face of a child in need.
