Rosemary Oil Cleaner Recipe

A trip to the store to purchase products for cleaning your home can result in spending a lot of money. Ads will have you filling your grocery cart with a different cleaning product for each surface, appliance, sink and floor. But all you really need is a simple all-purpose homemade cleaner to effectively clean each surface in the house. Save money with environmentally friendly ingredients, and leave your home clean and smelling fresh.

Things You'll Need

• Funnel
• Large plastic spray bottle
• 1 cup white distilled vinegar
• 1 cup tepid water
• 10 drops rosemary essential oil

Instructions

All-Purpose Cleaner Solution

1. Place a funnel into a large plastic spray bottle.

2. Pour 1 cup white distilled vinegar and 1 cup tepid water into the bottle. Add 10 drops rosemary essential oil. Attach the sprayer to the bottle and shake well.

3. Use the spray cleaner on kitchen counters, sinks, tile floors, appliances, bathtubs and everywhere else you normally clean with all-purpose cleaners.

4. Shake the bottle before each use--the rosemary essential oil will settle on the bottom.

Tips & Warnings

• Label the spray bottle before storing in the cabinet.

• For stubborn stains, mix equal amounts of all-purpose cleaner with baking soda to make a soft scrub paste. Let set on the stain to dry, then use a sponge or scrub pad to clean.
