1
Take a shower. Freshly washed hair will not be tangled or matted, making it easier to trim.
-
2
Comb the pubic hair to make it easier to access. Essentially, the bushier, the better when it comes to a trim job.
-
-
3
Place a blade guard on the trimmers to avoid the blades coming in contact with delicate pubic skin. You should have a variety of lengths to choose from. If you aren't sure how short you want to go, start with a longer length first, then you can always go back if you want to go shorter.
-
4
Position yourself over a garbage can or toilet to minimize pubic hair clean-up.
-
5
Start on the underside of the testicles and move the trimmer in a steady motion around the testicles. Go over any spots where the hair appears to still be long.
-
6
Run the trimmers over the remaining pubic hair, including the hair at the base of the penis.
