You'll never have to spend hundreds of dollars on moisturizing body butters and exfoliating body scrubs after you've mastered the art of making homemade whipped body butter scrubs. With just a few key ingredients and an electric blender or mixer, you can create your own body butter scrubs for your personal use as well as unique gifts to give to others.

Purchase a few necessary ingredients, such as waxes, acids, essential oils, fragrance oils, cocoa and shea butters, cream bases, glass jars for storage, and mixing utensils. You can purchase these ingredients from organic foods stores and makeup wholesalers.

Make a deliciously scented vanilla whipped body butter scrub. You will need 3 oz. of unrefined cocoa butter, an 1 1/2 oz. of non-fractionated coconut oil, 1 oz. of avocado oil, 2 tsp. beeswax, 1 tsp. virgin olive oil, 1 tsp. corn starch, 1 tsp. vitamin E, 1 tsp. vanilla fragrance oil and 3/4 oz. of macadamia oil. Place everything except the corn starch, vitamin E and vanilla fragrance oil into a glass jar or Pyrex cup, and then place in a hot water bath until the wax and butter have melted completely. Stir to blend the ingredients until the mixture thickens. Place it in the freezer for about three minutes, then remove and whip with an electric mixer. Continue placing it in the freezer, then whipping it at least four more times. Make sure the entire mixture is whipped, then slowly add in the corn starch, fragrance oil and vitamin E and continue whipping. The mixture will double in size and obtain a creamy, thick consistency. Transfer it to glass jars for storage. Use anywhere on your body to hydrate and exfoliate skin.
