How do I Pay a Lost Traffic Ticket in Seattle, Washington?

If you've lost a traffic ticket you received within Seattle, Washington city limits, you can still make a payment on the ticket. The Municipal Court of Seattle handles Seattle traffic ticket payments and a few options are available to make a payment on a lost traffic ticket.

Call the Municipal Court of Seattle at 206-684-5600 between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The office is closed on holidays.

Press 0 when prompted to speak to a customer service representative about paying a lost traffic ticket. For information on paying a lost parking you will be asked to provide your vehicle's license plate number. All other types of tickets require the date of birth for the person who was issued the lost ticket. If you prefer, you also have the option of emailing the courthouse customer service department or you may also visit the courthouse and pay the lost traffic ticket in person.

Visit the Municipal Court of Seattle at 600 Fifth Avenue in person to pay your traffic ticket at one of their payment windows. Again, for a parking ticket the vehicles license plate number will be required to verify the amount you owe. All other tickets will require the date of birth of the person who was issued the ticket.

Complete the Contact Customer Service Form in order to get the necessary information to pay a lost traffic ticket. The Contact Customer Service Form will ask you for the following information:

1.) Your full name

2.) Your full street address

3.) City in which you reside

4.) State or province in which you reside

5.) Your zip code or postal code

6.) Your email address

7.) Provide a daytime phone number, including area code if you would like to be contacted by phone. You will be asked to state the best time to reach you during 8-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

8.) Provide the vehicle's plate number for a parking ticket or your date of birth for all other types of tickets

9.) Write a brief explanation of what information you are requesting from the customer service department such as ticket number, cost of ticket and payment due date.

Tips

  • It can take up to 72 hours for a traffic ticket to be entered into the court's system after it has been issued.
