How to Connect a Wireless Mic

How to Connect a Wireless Micthumbnail
Wireless mics have done away with the need for cumbersome cables.

Gone are the days of microphones leaving a lattice-like trail of wires across the stage. Wireless mics, using either infrared technology or radio frequencies, have done away with the need for cumbersome cables. Those wireless microphones using radio frequencies tend to be more effective than those using infrared, as infrared technology demands a clear sight line between mic and receiver at all times. Connecting the microphone via radio frequency negates this problem.
