Internet browser users can experience a level of privacy with "Private Browsing," but what if they want to continue the Private Browsing session upon next opening the application? All it takes is a bit of configuration within the browser's settings. When you have configured it properly, you can continue Private Browsing each time you open your browser. Even beginning users can make these settings within their internet browsers to assure browsing privacy.

Instructions

  1. Firefox

      Open Firefox.

      Click on the "Tools" tab on the Firefox toolbar, then click on "Options."

      Click on the "Privacy" tab, and specify in the "Firefox will" box to "Use custom settings for history."

      Put a check in the box labeled "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session" and hit "OK." Now every time you open the Firefox browser your private browsing session will begin automatically.

    Internet Explorer

      Open the Internet Explorer browser.

      Click the "Safety" button at the top right of the screen.

      Select "InPrivate" to continue in a Private Browsing session.

    Chrome

      Open the Chrome browser.

      Select "Open New Incognito Window" to begin private browsing. (Alternatively, you can hit Ctrl + Shift + N to begin private browsing without even having to open the menu.)
