How do I Enable Wireless Connections on an IBM Thinkpad 390 x 2626?

The IBM Thinkpad 390x 2626 laptop computer ships with the Windows XP operating system installed on its internal hard drive. Before you can use a wireless connection on your IBM Thinkpad, it must be properly enabled at the operating system level. As the Windows Network and Sharing Center (a feature of Vista and 7) did not exist in Windows XP, you will have to use a different native networking tool called "Network Connections" to enable this feature.
