How to Become a Value Added Reseller
A reseller is someone who buys or rents rights to a product and then resells that product to others. A reseller may pay a periodic fee for the right to resell a product or he may purchase resell rights with one payment. A value added reseller takes that existing product and adds in his own features or products in order to give his version of the product more value than the same product from other resellers.

Choose a product that you want to resell. This can be any type of product that you are interested in selling and for which you can find resell rights to purchase. For some products, you can buy unlimited resell rights for one price and one payment. For other products, you will need to pay for these rights periodically, such as monthly or yearly.

Add on features to the resell product that increase its functionality or usability. You can also choose to package it with other products that you own the resell rights to. Either of these options will improve the value of the product.

Sell your new value added product to consumers. You should let potential buyers know that buying the product from you is better than buying it from others because your product has these value added features that the competition does not have. Therefore, they are getting more “bang” for their buck.
