One of the best-selling car audio brands over the past few decades has been Alpine. Alpine produces a wide array of car audio equipment, including amplifiers. One popular amplifier model by Alpine is the MRV-F400.

Power

The MRV F-400 RMS power at 12 volts, 20-20k hz produces 40 watts per channel into 4 ohms, 20 watts per channel into 2 ohms. The bridged dual channel into 4 ohms is 100 watts.

Features

This amplifier has numerous features including 4/3/2 Channel Operation, multimode function, no current limiting, STAR circuitry, input mode selector, gain control, hidden output circuitry, gold-plated connectors and screw-down terminals, PWM (pulse width modulated) power supply and LED status indicator.

Dimensions

The dimensions of the MRV F-400 are 12 inches wide, 2 1/2 inches high and little over 9 inches deep. The overall weight is between 9 and 11 pounds, depending on the mounted hardware.
