How to Calculate 3 Phase Transformer Power
Calculating the 3-phase transformer power of a power transformer is not difficult, but in order to carry out the calculations you need to know certain data in advance. You will need the complex voltage and complex current of each phase of the transformer (normally denoted a, b, and c). After that, it's simple multiplication and addition.
Instructions

-
1
Calculate the complex conjugate of each phase's current.
-
2
Multiply each of three phases' complex voltages by the complex conjugate of the phase's current from step 1.
-
-
3
Add the three numbers from step 2 to acquire the transformer's 3-phase power.
